We are a family-owned business. Owned by Captain Jonathan Streat, Sr, who served over 30 years in the District of Columbia Fire and EMS Department. It is our Mission as a family to continue to serve a host of great Carryout foods and Bakery sweets to the community.

 

We will serve our customers with exception Customer Service and a crisp clean environment, in all our facilities. We will also promote a good Christian and Community based environment as well as a “Safe-Place” for Children of abuse and mental health issues.

 I started Captain Jon's Subs and Bakery because of my love for decorating the perfect sandwich I am a Hoagie lover. My wife Della is an awesome cake maker, her flavor in cakes are handed down from her mother Levora Proctor and they taste amazing. So we merged as a family 25 years ago now it's time to merge in business.

 

Jon and Della, we have been married for 25 years and have 2 Children, Jonathan Jr. and Favian Guy Streat, as well as a blended family of sons and daughters. Not to mention, I have plans to  soon retire. We hold tightly to our love of God and the relationship we endure with his Holy Spirit. God had given us the greatest gift which is "LOVE" it is our motto; "We place Love in all we do."
